The story
Synopsis
Shuurei Kō, the resourceful daughter of an impoverished noble family, dreams of serving her country in spite of the limits placed on women. An unexpected summons gives her a temporary post at court as the young emperor’s consort, and she accepts partly for the chance it offers her ambitions and her family’s welfare. With her loyal friend Seiran at her side…
