The story
Synopsis
In Heian era Kyoto, a city weakened by greed, illness, and political decay, a young woman takes up a dangerous quest when her famed brother cannot. Disguised and determined, she leaves the capital to search for a legendary jewel said to hold the power to change the world. Along the way she encounters strange allies, supernatural occurrences, and moral dilem…
