The story
Synopsis
Haibane Renmei follows a young Haibane named Rakka who awakens in a secluded, walled town with a halo and small gray wings but no memories of who she was before. As she learns to fit into the quiet routines of the community, she confronts the gentle comforts and subtle restrictions that shape daily life. The Haibane live under strict rules leaving the town…
